Replacement Disc Stack Separator Spacer

Function group: Separation Unit

A spacer should not be selected by outside diameter alone. The correct part depends on the bowl assembly and disc stack. Compare the old spacer, measure its key dimensions, and provide the model before ordering to avoid changing the separation geometry.

About the Separation Unit group

The separation unit is where whole milk is split into cream and skim milk: the disc stack and the individual discs that form the separating channels. Damage here shows up as poorer separation, an unbalanced bowl, or noise at speed rather than as an obvious leak.

Selection notes for this entry

Checks before you order

  1. Keep the discs in the order they were removed — mixing the stack changes separation.
  2. Inspect each disc for bends, burrs and blocked holes, and set damaged discs aside rather than refitting them.
  3. Check that every spacer and washer is present and seated flat before closing the bowl.

Where this part fits

Parts in the same function group work together, so a fault that looks like one worn component can involve a neighbouring part in the same assembly. Before ordering, confirm the machine model, the assembly reference and the key dimensions against your own machine record.
